You want to see good movies. Hollywood doesn’t do that much. But when it does, people want to see more of them. And if there’s one thing Hollywood loves to do, it’s build on ideas that are already somewhat successful to try and make them more successful.

Next year, 2014, promises to bring a number of original expansions on movie ideas that have been around anywhere from three to thousands of years. Get ready to start saving your money. You’re gonna need lots of it. Popcorn ain’t cheap!

Robocop

The original movie, starring Peter Weller, came out in 1987. Twenty-seven years later we get an updated, modernized reboot. With the popularity of Iron Man this reworking of the story should be interesting.
