Music videos are supposed to be artistic representations of the music the artist wants to put across. What they end up being is an excuse for casting directors to put pretty girls in precarious situations for 12 seconds of screen time.

Oh well, so long as the chicks are cute the system works. Artists get their music out there, marketers get paid to hype it and advertisers grease the system with dollars all so you can enjoy this 3:45 montage of cool that the artists want to lay on you. Bring ‘em on, baby.
