West coast, best coast?
YG‘s come a long way from “Toot It & Boot It”, the 2010 single that had his music blaring from speakers all across the country, and as he prepares to drop his long awaited debut album, My Krazy Life, Def Jam held a private listening for select members of the press to experience the Compton rep’s first official body of work, and get a feel for what to expect come March 18th.
With DJ Mustard, Jeezy and Sickamore present, YG ran through his album from start to finish, including a slideshow of pictures that were compiled during the crafting of MKL, played an early viewing of the “My N**** Remix” video and conversed with several members of the press who had questions as to why he chose certain aspects of his album to standout, including the artwork.
Pre-orders for My Krazy Life are available right now via iTunes, and without further ado, there are ten things that stood out to us as we listened intently to MKL, and we thought we’d share them with you.
