Aww sh*t
Last night was an important one for hip-hop. Not just in 2013, in general. Previously thought to be purposely hiding under a rock so ScHooboy Q could effectively drop Oxymoron, Kendrick Lamar surfaced in the form of m.A.A.d. city’s governor, unleashing a lyrical and egotistical on the entire genre. From naming his contemporaries to claiming to be the King Of New York, all while referencing Jay Z lyrics verbatim, there was something for every nostalgic rap fan on Big Sean‘s Hall Of Fame loosie. What was even greater than the verse, arguably, was the social media-sphere’s reaction to it. Before even hearing the song you were forewarned of what a certain Mr. Lamar did to it. Not to mention, young Joey Bada$$ took the opportunity to tweet his thoughts on Big Sean’s efforts, and was, well…enjoy guys.
