Women get to take part in a handful of sports which include soccer, volleyball, X Games, basketball and now football. For decades, the only time women were associate with football were the roles of playing cheerleaders on the NFL sidelines or just being a fan.
It started out as a halftime showtime before going into a full fledge league in 2009. It was a place were women around the country can flex their football muscle, wearing lingerie, of course. Most of these women aren’t just pretty faces but are athletes their entire lives. Since the league’s launch, the name has changed to be taken more seriously, and it’s been rebranded to Legends Football League. The league might have a new name but the players are still the same.
