While 2 Chainz artwork may seem simple enough, there’s actually a story behind it. During this interview with the LA Leakers, 2 Chainz speaks about Kanye West actually creating B.O.A.T.S II’s album cover.

“I know it looks like it wasn’t a lot of thought, but you won’t believe…” says 2 Chainz before the host burst into laughter. “People won’t believe how much thought goes into this stuff,” he continues.

He then goes on to reflect on his first album cover, which also featured gold chains. From there, he talks about working with Donda and Ye on the cover.

“I didn’t know you could erase on the computer,” 2 Chainz says while talking about Kanye West’s photoshop skills.
