The midsized SUV- is more of a crossover vehicle- part car/part truck. It’s basically a sporty family car. Perfect for the man or woman who has kids but aren’t ready to start driving the mini-van. The GLE Coupe is based on the $48,000 base priced, M-Class SUV- it’s just sexier. Think of a cross between the E-Class sedan and the ML SUV. The car has curves- The GLE has a sloping rear and a sloping hood and 21-inch wheels. You can catch the GLE on the streets in August 2015. The top-of-the-line variant will be the GLE 63 AMG, which boasts a 585-horsepower V8 engine. The GLE SUVs are the first vehicles to use Mercedes’ new naming system. All SUVs start with “GL” and the E refers to it being a midsize vehicle similar to the E-Class.
