Jamaica Decriminalizes Marijuana On Bob Marley’s Birthday

Bob Marley was a staunch advocate for the use of marijuana. It was a part of his Rastafarian’s belief system and he sang about its benefits to the world. On his 7oth birthday this year, February 6th, his native land of Jamaica made a monumental decision to decriminalize marijuana nationally. A fitting gift for the reggae icon. Though it is widely believed that marijuana is legal in Jamaica, it is not. The country’s Dangerous Drugs Act punishes those caught with marijuana to up to five years and fines. On Friday, the Jamaican Senate passed a bill decriminalizing marijuana possession for medical, religious and scientific reasons. This means that marijuana can be prescribed by doctors to ailing patients, Rastafarians whose faith centers around use of the plant for their religious practices and institutions looking to conduct scientific research using bud are free to do so. Under the new law, possession of up to two ounces for personal use will now get you ticketed instead of locked up. Jamaicans are also permitted to grow and cultivate up to five marijuana plants personally. Last year, Jamaican Minister of Justice Mark Goldberg wrote when the measure was announced: “The objective is to provide a more enlightened approach to dealing with possession of small quantities and smoking, while still meeting the ends of justice. The proposed changes represent an approach which will endure to the benefit of the persons concerned and the society as a whole, and reduce the burdens on the court system.” Bob Marley urged the powers-that-be to “Legalizeread more

Guards Seduced and Drugged During Prison Break

Rap music has long documented the power of P.U.S.S.Y.. There are weak men out there willing to do anything and risk everything for a little bit of loving from a woman. A story coming out of Brazil illustrates this notion perfectly. Two prison guards at a Brazilian female facility were seduced and drugged as part of a sizable prison break recently. Two scantily clad women in sexy police uniforms showed up at Brazil’s interior Mato Grosso state and convinced the guards on duty to let them in. They drank booze with the women in hopes of sex with the women. Unbeknownst to them, the women had spiked the drinks. The next day, the prison guards woke up naked and handcuffed. Their memories were fogged as to what had transpired the night before. The bottles of spiked whisky and sexy police woman costumes found at the scene probably jogged their memory, but they certainly did not know that 26 of the female prisoners flew the coop. Eleven of the escaped prisoners were retained by authorities. Even more egregious than the guards who neglected their responsibilities was the presence of the director of the prison at the scene. He did not know what was happening because he was asleep at his post. “Nothing like this has ever happened,” said spokesman William Fidelis. “Nova Mutum is a small city. People haven’t talked about anything else since it happened. Especially since 15 prisoners are still out there.” This should serve as a reminder for men to not think with theread more
