Queen’s native 50 Cent lends support during a time of sorrow
When 14 D’aja Robinson’s life was senselessly taken from her last week following a attack perpetuated by a gunman who shot 9 .40-caliber bullets into the side of a bus, sorrow and outrage filled the hearts of the community. The young teen had just attended a sweet sixteen party and was on her way home when the attack occurred. She was rushed to the hospital but sadly passed away due to the injuries she sustained. D’aja Robinson’s funeral took place on Friday.
Not one to forget his roots, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson lended support to Robinson’s family and payed for the funeral services. Jackson made a statement on his Facebook page and had the following to say regarding his involvement, “People always try and paint negative images about me I’m the most genuine down to earth person and I didn’t forget where I came from I came through for baby girl by providing a horse and carriage for her. She was pretty, innocent and didnt deserve to die like that R.I.P D’Asia Robinson.”
Our condolences go out to the Robinson family during this tragic time.
