Netflix’s “Orange is the New Black” is the latest show in their original programming lineup, and it’s awesome. Not just regular, “Oh, that’s awesome,” but full-fledged F*CKING AWESOME. Created by the same woman, Jenji Kohan, who brought us the Showtime hit, “Weeds,” “OITNB” gives us a new female protagonist to follow. Piper, the main character, has just gone to federal prison for a crime she committed 10 years prior, and the show chronicles her time in prison and also shows how she interacts with the other inmates and how she affects their lives.

It also stars Jason Biggs of “American Pie” fame where he plays her fiance and another snively character who has sexual issues. (But he does a great job!)
