King Push Details The Concept Of Latest Vid

When he dropped one of this year’s best rap albums, My Name Is My Name, Pusha T defied skeptics who believed the VA rapper would once again fall victim to record label shenanigans. Perhaps in light of his albums continuous delays before it’s eventual release to universal positive reviews, Pusha took MTV News behind the scenes of his new video “Hold On,” one of the albums standout tracks, which features MMG centerpiece Rick Ross.

Of the video’s concept, Pusha said, “The concept of ‘Hold On’ is me and Ross performing in front of some neighborhood guys, lecturing and basically telling the people of the neighborhood — our peers, essentially — that we’re here for them and we’re doing this for them’.
