While the playoffs for the Oklahoma City Thunder maybe over, players like Kevin Durant calls the city home and not a place he just stays during the NBA regular season.

On Monday a tornado ripped though the city of  Moore, and on Tuesday Kevin came forward and donated  $1 million to help in hurricane relief  and ready to rebuild the city.  Since moving from Seattle to Oklahoma City, Durant has become a main stay of the city and the face of the Thunder franchise. It was only the right thing to do and become the first person to help the cause in a time in extreme emergency.
