Some of the most elusive artists out of the old Brooklyn had a grand opening of their exclusive art gallery in their native Bushwick bombing grounds

In this day and age, what is now coined “street art” has now overrun the once graffiti saturated walls in the rugged streets of Bushwick, Brooklyn. Apartments that were once $500 a month in the 90s are pushing $3K in 2015 in the gentrifying residencies of Bushwick, so graff writers are being pushed out of their hood by out of town, hipster, Instagram artists that have now been self assigned to beautify Bushwick.

If you want to check out an authentic, artistic piece from the original streets of Bushwick, check out the “Bushwick Originals Plus One” art gallery at 82 Central Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Real street art from some of Bushwick’s most memorable writers, namely from the infamous, all city YKK crew. There’s some one of a kind pieces on display by AUDIE, TEKAY, SKUF, KA TKK, and KEZ 5. Check out the gallery below from the opening reception.
