For the third year in row, Apple has taken the crown as the world’s most valuable brand according to Forbes. Apple is then followed by tech companies Microsoft, IBM, Google, Intel and then Samsung rounding out the top ten. Other brands making the top 1o list this year are Mcdonalds, General electric and Louis Vuitton.
Within the last 12 months, Apple, Samsung and Google have all doubled their brand percentage, with Samsung seeing the biggest jump with a 53% to a value of $29.5 billion. Forbes says the rankings are calculated by a formula which uses companies three year revenue and their average stock pricing. Here’s what the top brands are worth today.
