Someone always has to ask the tough questions. How else are we going to continue to grow and evolve? Well, lucky for us, the Baltimore emcee, Chachi Pajamas, is back to challenge everything you’ve ever accepted to be fact. As part of the larger concept, Grey Sweatpants, Chachi may seem to be spending too much time on the silly task of classifying Cheetos but if you listen to the lyrics, he’s aiming at something deeper.
Kendox lays down a grave piano line for Chachi to delve into his personal life, up to the point of his meditations. He even provides a moment of silence for you to follow suit. He explains the concept for this track as such:
Formulate your own opinions! Don’t just go with what they tell you is true. Do your own research and use your own intuition. “Are Cheetos Really Chips?” translates to “Is How We Living Really Life?” Are we really making the most of our potential and getting the most out of our earthly experience, or are we just doing as were told? It’s also about expecting one thing to happen, and then something else happens. But it all sounds like I’m just rapping about b*tches while I eat chips in a car *laughs* and I love that.
Look out for more Grey Sweatpants in the coming weeks.
