August Alsina was just being honest. The next big act to come out of New Orleans took on Future’s title track off his upcoming album and made it his own with his rendition of the radio hit. Though it’s not backed up by a guitar as with typical “acoustic” versions, Alsina made a simple twist to the original beat leaving the memorable piano tune and allowed Minneapolis rapper Rocky Diamonds to contribute a verse.

With big collaborations with key players like Chris Brown, Trey Songz, and Kirko Bangz already under his belt, the solo effort from Alsina won’t go unnoticed, especially since his break-out hit “I Luv It” is one of the most played tracks on the radio right now.
