Experts say that the underwater volcano is expected to fully erupt within the next 24 hours
Kick ‘Em Jenny, an “under the sea” volcano off the north coast of Grenada is predicted by seismic experts to erupt by tomorrow. Contrary to many reports that have been circulating about the impending eruption, a tsunami is not in the forecast for any of the Lesser Antilles islands.
Activity from the volcano with the unconventional name began on July 11 about 11 miles off the coast of the Carribean island of Grenada. The Seismic Research Center At The University Of The West Indies put out an orange alert on Kick ‘Em today, stating that an eruption is inevitable.
Grenada’s Acting Prime Minister Elvin Nimrod says that the volcano serves no significant threat to Grenada or other surrounding countries and there’s “no need to move people to other countries.”
