ELLIS kills the track and gets away with it, with some help from partners in crime Statik Selekt and Legin, on “Smooth Criminal.”

Continuing with his Ocean Grown campaign, emcee ELLIS follows up his Statik Selektah produced “Super Conscious” with an equally smooth offering, “Smooth Criminal.”  Statik Selekt handles the boards, while in-house producer Legin handles the instrumentation.

ELLIS was first introduced to the world back in 2013, via Sway in the Morning.  That appearance led to a national TV debut via MTV’s Rap Fix the following year.  The exposure helped ELLIS gain the attention of industry tastemakers, and grow a core fanbase.  Today, he’s continuing to perfect his craft, while collabing with industry vets like Statik Selekt, and the results are nothing short of hip hop harmony.
