Indiana Pacers v Miami Heat - Game Five

No Birdman, no birdman?

The electrifying Chris ‘Birdman’ Andersen has been suspended for Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals tonight. The battle between Tyler Hansbrough and Birdman came to a head in Game 5 when after a Miami miss Birdman checked Hansbrough to the ground. Once Hansbrough rose to his feet he and Birdman got in each other’s face resulting in Birdman shoving Hansbrough again. For some reason Birdman was not ejected during the game as he was only served a Flagrant-1.

Now that the league has been able to review the tape they have officially suspended the Birdman. His absence will definitely be felt due to the energy he brings off the bench and the affect he has on the rebounding end of the game, which the Pacers kill the Heat with. The Heat will be looking to eliminate the Pacers tonight; tip-off is at 8:30.
