It can be sooooo difficult going through life being beautiful. Just ask this chick from last night’s episode of MTV True Life: I’m Too Beautiful. Like, it totally sucks.
So you can only imagine how hard it is to get a job for people that are good lookin’. That’s why the fine folks at BeautifulPeople.com — the online dating site that only allows hotties to join — has expanded its discriminative practices to job seeking. Employers and applicants will have access to the site’s 750,000 sexy members, who have only been allowed to stick around after other members have agreed on their hotness. Job seekers will be also be able to peruse job listings and apply directly to companies featured on the site.
“An honest employer will tell you that it pays to hire good-looking staff,” said Greg Hodge, douche bag managing director of BeautifulPeople.com, in a statement. “Attractive people tend to make a better first impression on clients, win more business and earn more.”
Sure, it’s no secret we live in a superficial society that places a heavy emphasis on people’s looks, but it’s safe to say a site dedicated to “pretty people” is a tad bit extreme and plain ol’ offensive. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
