This time around the revolution will be televised.

On August 27th, one of the greatest soul music collectives will re-band and put out their highly anticipated comeback album, Age Against The Machine (Elektra). This will be the first full Goodie Mob album in 14 years, as their two most recent LPs (One Monkey Don’t Stop No Show & Livin’ Life As Lumberjacks) didn’t include contributions from Cee-Lo, and at times T-Mo. The reunion, which has been talked about briefly by each member dating back to 2010, will come full circle towards the end of this summer, as the quartet makes their official return to wax. If only we could get that other Dungeon Family collective to put some music out…

…but that’s a different conversation, isn’t it.
