the tagger who was infamously charged with 68 counts of graffiti in 2013 was fatally shot over the weekend and police are still looking for his killer

Graffiti artist Fitzgerald McBride aka 2MEAN was shot and killed Sunday morning in Brooklyn. Authorities are still searching for the person who pulled the trigger that ended the life of the 46 year old artist known primarily for his 2MEAN tag, which has been a regular on the walls of Brownsville and Bedford-Stuyvesant for two decades.

Police responded to a call of gunshots heard near the intersection of Atlantic and Albany Avenues in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn. McBride was found in front of Interfaith Hospital, which is near the intersection, with gunshots to his arm and torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the shooting; where he was shot and who is responsible for the shooting.
