Police arrest another student on Wednesday in connection to the threats made to Black students on the campus of University of Missouri-Columbia.
19 year old Connor Stottlemyre was taken into custody for allegedly making a terroristic threat on the anonymous social media app Yik Yak, which according to a university spokesperson, read,
“I’m going to shoot any black people tomorrow, so be ready.”
Stottlemyre, from Blue Springs, MO., was arrested at approximately 11 a.m. at his dormitory without incident.
Another student, Hunter Park, was arrested earlier at 1:50 a.m. at a dorm at Missouri University of Science and Technology, in Rolla, Missouri, where he is a student. Parks was held at Boone County Jail on a $4,500 bond.
