Fans of MTV‘s Jackass and Viva La Bam will be saddened to learn that Vincent “Don Vito” Margera, the uncle of Bam Margera, died in Philadelphia earlier this morning. He was 59.

Don Vito’s health has been declining since last month, in which was hospitalized and fell into a coma after complications with his kidney and liver. He succumbed to these condition this morning, reportedly dying from kidney and liver failure, according to information TMZ received from Bam’s mother April Margera.

Don Vito will be remembered by fans for his short temper and prank wars between himself and Bam on Viva La Bam during the shows 2003 to 2006 run.
