Haven’t heard of Chase & Status? Consider this a rude boy awakening. Since winning the Red Bull Culture Clash as a part of the Rebel Sound team in 2014, they’ve sold over a million records with their last album, No More Idols, going double platinum. Their production is boisterous and the adrenaline shot that most emcees are looking for when they need a party starting track. They’ve recently started a video series that features their production paired with various emcees titled London Bars.
This installment features Bonkaz show footage along with other dark shaded shots that match the foreboding tone of the track. The production may not be the stereotypical riot starting energy from Chase & Status but has the right rhythm to fire off a few isolated mosh pits. It all ends with a new emcee entering a car for what is assumed to be what is to come in the next episode of the series.
You can purchase the single on iTunes via their label, MTA Records.
