The 26 year old daughter of a Moroccan immigrant has been identified as the first female suicide bomber in Europe and the Western world.

Hasna Aitboulahcen was allegedly found with ISIS militant Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the ringleader of the November 13 Paris terrorist attacks, during the early morning raid in Saint-Denis, a Parisian suburb, where Abaaoud was killed by French authorities. The nature of the relationship between Abaaoud and Aitboulahcen has not been confirmed, but police officials had reported that she was Abaaoud’s cousin.

Aitboulahcen detonated a suicide vest when French police executed several search warrants in Saint-Denis looking for those responsible for the attacks last week in Paris. An audio recording of the raid revealed an officer heard shouting, “Where is your boyfriend?” The woman replies, “He’s not my boyfriend.”
