Five protestors from the #BlackLivesMatter movement were shot last night at the Fourth Precinct police station in North Minneapolis, Minnesota. Those who were shot received non-life threatening injuries.
A media contact for the #BlackLivesMatter movement said that three white supremacists approached the protestors, with at least one of the three donning a mask. When a group of protestors attempted to move from the area, five of the protestors were shot.
The gunshot victims were taken to North Memorial Medical Center and Hennepin County Medical Center, where at least one of the protestors went for surgery after being shot in the stomach.
The protesters, angry over the fatal police shooting of 24-year-old Jamar Clark on Nov. 15, have keep a protest active outside the Minneapolis police station ever since.
No one has been arrested thus far in connection to the crime.
