Grammy®-nominated, multi-platinum artist and G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T will release the prelude to his hotly anticipated album entitled King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude out December 18th on the Def Jam Recordings/G.O.O.D. Music label. Last week, to build up anticipation, Pusha T released the first song off the album, “Untouchable”, a menacing track showcasing Pusha’s lyricism over a Notorious B.I.G. sample and beat by Timbaland.

Darkest Before Dawn will feature collaborations with Kanye West, A$AP Rocky, Jill Scott, Kehlani, The Dream, and Beanie Sigel, with production by Timbaland, Q-Tip, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, Hudson Mohawke and Diddy. Darkest Before Dawn is the follow-up to My Name Is My Name, Pusha T’s critically acclaimed debut of 2013, which entered the Billboard Hip-Hop Album Chart at #2.

Last week, Pusha previewed the album for a select group at the launch of his upcoming sneaker collaboration with Adidas. The Pusha T designed adidas EQT “Black Market” will be available on Black Friday, November 27th at sneaker boutiques across the country.

Pusha T was signed to G.O.O.D. Music (Getting Out Our Dreams) in 2010 by founder and 21-time Grammy Award®-winning superstar Kanye West. Since 2010, Pusha T has garnered an impressive track record. He was featured that year on the RIAA platinum Top 10 single “Runaway,” from Kanye West’s classic RIAA platinum album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. In 2012, Pusha T took the lead on a number of tracks from Kanye’s influential Cruel Summer album, most notably the #1 triple-platinum “Mercy” (with Big Sean and 2 Chainz). Pusha T has also become a sought after collaborator with EDM’s biggest names following the success of his 2014 track “Burial” with Yogi and Skrillex. Throughout 2015, Pusha T’s music has scored many of the biggest moments in film, television and commercials, providing the soundtrack for everything from Adidas campaigns to HBO primetime shows to the VMAs.
