Juneau, Alaska newly elected Mayor Greg Fisk, 70, was found dead just weeks after taking office. With speculation swirling around his sudden death, an investigation has detectives digging deep to find the cause of the demise of their new mayor.

Fisk was found in his home by his home by his son Ian Monday afternoon, who immediately called 911, according to neighbors. It has been speculated that Fisk had been assaulted before he was found dead, however, that theory has been denied by investigators.

Fisk defeated Mayor Merrill Sanford by a landslide in October in the town whose population is approximately 32,000.
