One woman killed and another injured at Lil Scrappy concert in the Bay Area

A woman was caught in the line of fire at Dan Foley Park in Vallejo, Calif this past weekend after a shootout took place outside of a Lil Scrappy concert. According to SFGate, there was fire exchanged between several men in the parking lot of the park at approximately 11:53 p.m.

Shortly after arriving to the crime scene, police discovered the wounded 34-year-old lady, who was unresponsive. Upon being rushed to a local hospital, she was later pronounced dead. In the midst of this, a second victim was also found in the parking lot. She, too, was taken to a local hospital to be treated and was released afterward.

The two women had been in attendance at a Lil Scrappy concert that was taking place at the Dan Foley Cultural Center and aren’t believed to be the intended targets of the various suspects.

As of Saturday, no arrests have yet been made.
