Jamall Bufford has been working hard, not just with the music (Black Opera, Athletic Mic League, Mello Music Group), but with teens and families during his day job. The Michigan emcee has taken what he’s seen and learned from those around him and directly translated them into his music. Thus, Victim Of A Modern Age was born. It’s been about three years since his last project but his latest one proves that he hasn’t missed a step.
In more ways than one, we’ve become victims of some force. I know I have some college debts still staring me in the face everyday. Kanye knows about that. And while Jamall may not be as outspoken in public as Ye, he certainly expresses himself just as articulately through his music.
The album features production from 14KT, ZO!, Slot-A, and more. You can stream the project above and purchase it for keeps at $7.49.
