After almost a four year hiatus, Kelis is making her way back to the music scene.  She just announced her next album, entitled, Food will be hitting shelves April 28, 2014. What can we expect? Her last album was Flesh Tone in 2010. The music was a mixture of bass beats with an electronic feel.  As we reported, she recently launched her line of cooking sauces after being inspired by the many places she’s traveled to. But she’s back mashing music with food. We assume the food title comes with the different sounds we can expect on the album. Food will be released on Ninja Tune imprint and produced by Dave Sitetk who’s worked with Wale, Santigold and many others. New sound for Kelis, she’s always known for being ahead of time. We’ll see more next year!
