According to a rep for rapper Tyga, the 25 year old entertainer says that he reached out to 14 year old Molly O’Malia because she can sing. According to Tyga’s manager Anthony Martini, the rapper only sent a message to the teenager after his team found out she had a heavy musical following online and thought she might be the perfect candidate for a Last Kings Records deal.
The manager says in the text volley, Tyga specifically asked her to send him some music, adding things never got “uncomfortable” as O’Malia alleged in her statement through her lawyer yesterday afternoon. The rep says Tyga wanted to FaceTime the 14 year old to talk business and see her sing.
Tyga claims it was “strictly business and completely PG.” As for her age, Molly told Tyga that she was 17, according to text messages obtained by TMZ.
