Don’t let the size fool you, this ride is a big deal.
The British small car specialist MINI has announced that it will resume production of the vehicle in the Netherlands, where the last bite size ride was built nearly a quarter of a century ago in 1966. But make no mistake, the MINI is definitely coming back to the auto world with style and grace.
To honor its return, the BMW Classic Group has unretired MINI number 983 and put the 1959 Austin Seven built classic back into the game. MINI number 983 was built in Amersfoort, the Netherlands and was one of only 30 built there that year.
Don’t expect to blaze down the street in this hall of fame automobile, but do prepare yourself to get some looks.
