John Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen are expectant parents making big moves, recently purchasing a huge new mansion in Beverly Hills for their growing family.
Variety reports the married couple paid $14.1 million for the lavish crib, which Rihanna used to call home. The very chic abode boasts canyon, mountain, and distant ocean views. It has five bedrooms and eight bathrooms. Rihanna owned the home from 2009 to 2011. A few months after she moved in, a rain storm caused major flooding issues, prompting her to sue all the parties involved in selling the home. The residence has since been repaired and upgraded.

Teigen can currently be seen on the uber popular Spike TV show Lip Sync Battle and John is working as executive producer on WGN America’s new show, Underground. Legend and the creatives behind the show Misha Green, Joe Pokaski, Mike Jackson, director Anthony Hemingway and stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Aldis Hodge, Jessica de Gouw and Alano Miller will be participating in a panel at Sundance Film Festival next week.
Legend also recently announced a mentorship contest with Axe, where the winner will present their work during SXSW or the Toronto International Film Festival this year. He also released a new song called “Under The Stars” last month.
The loft he and Chrissy shared in New York is currently up for sale $3.995 million.
