After four weeks of standing at the pole position in the box office, Star Wars: The Force Awakens was bumped from the top spot by Ice Cube and Kevin Hart‘s Ride Along 2.

Raking in over $35 million in its opening weekend, the undercover cop comedy beat out the latest addition to the Star Wars legacy, which still managed to garner a healthy $25 million this weekend. The Tim Story directed flick starring rapper/actor Ice Cube and funnyman Kevin Hart was a surprise hit, much like the first Ride Along, which amassed $48.6 million on its debut weekend in 2014.

Ride Along 2 was an unlikely contender for the sci-fi franchise’s most recent installment, which already has earned almost $2 billion around the globe. With this type of success, the future may already have a Ride Along 3 on the horizon.
