Lupe Fiasco talks about “Old School Love,” Ab-Soul and Nelson Mandela on The Whoolywood Show

Lupe_FiascoDuring his visit to the Shade 45 studio, the immensely outspoken Lupe Fiasco dropped by DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoolywood Show for a lengthy, insightful interview. The rapper spoke on his rather contentious persona, the violence he was exposed to while growing up in Chicago, and his new controversial single “Old School Love.”

You gotta talk about something, you know? I come from the hood, I’ve seen things. I’ve done things, I’ve witnessed things. You know? I talk about what I see, I talk about what’s real.” said Lupe.

He also went on to state exactly why he feels that Kanye West is one of the greatest and shared his thoughts on TDE’s self-proclaimed “deep thinker” Ab-Soul.
