George Harvey, who is best known as “Crackhead Bob” from The Howard Stern Show, passed away at 56.

The fan favorite was picked up by show producers from 1995 to 2001 after being a huge fan and always being first in line at Stern’s signings. He quickly became a featured guest on the show after requests from fans made him a mainstay.

Bob’s claim to fame came from talking about how his speech and appearance were affected by years of smoking crack, which was the inspiration behind his nickname. His drug addiction forced him to take several breaks from the show.

Harvey’s cause of death is unknown at this time.

TheSource.com would like to send our condolences to everyone at The Howard Stern Show for their loss.
