They know they lipsync. We know they lipsync. Everybody knows that pop stars lipsync some of their performances (unless it’s Britney Spears, then it’s all…or so we hear). If they do it right though, it looks just genuine as an authentic performance. When it doesn’t…*ahem* Ashlee Simpson *ahem*…it can be a nightmare.

Something went wrong during a recent Katy Perry performance such that the track and her voice were not in sync. The host of the show, noticing the anomaly, interrupted. Ever heard of that? Well… that’s just the tip of the iceberg of misfortune.
