Who else you thought was going to get it?
On Saturday night, Cam Newton was prominently recognized at the NFL Honors for being the 2015 NFL Offensive Player of the Year and without a doubt, was well deserved. Cam Newton led his Carolina Panthers to a 15 -1 season (hopefully 16-1 and a ring after tonight’s game) while recording a fascinating 45 total touchdowns.
His play this season not only elevated his team to multiple victories but positioned the Carolina Panthers to play in the biggest game of the season vs the Denver Broncos tonight. Not to mention, Cam Newton has passed the football for 3,837 yards and averaged a stellar 7.7 yards per passing attempt. There was no doubt he was the most dominant offensive player we saw this season and a shoe-in for the award.
