New year, same venue
Can you say Broccoli City!
The festival that intersects the pop culture world with explosive ideas and lessons to change the environment and urban communities is back.
And it’s bigger.
Broccoli City announced earlier this week that the 4th annual Broccoli City festival will be returning back to it’s birth grounds in DC at the DC Pavilion on Saturday, April 30, 2016. This year it will be heavy, featuring a superstar lineup in: Future, Jhene Aiko, The Internet, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, BJ the Chicago Kid, Sango of the Soulection collective and more. CBS Radio will serve as the festivals first radio partner (major key) of Broccoli City. Area listeners will be able to participate on on-air giveaways and promotions to win tickets to the awesome festival.
Now what can festival-goers expect? Well, festival attendees can expect a plethora of organic juice bars, a pop-up market featuring eco-friendly vendors, fully stocked bars, massages stations and more. According to BC Festival co-founder Brandon McEachern:
“Music is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together, so we’re confident this lineup does just that and look forward to delivering another impactful event.
The festival will take place rain or shine on April 30th from 12 p.m to 10 p.m rain or shine. If you need any more convincing that this is the festival to attend, head to the festival’s main site here.
