A24 Films’ “Bling Ring” hit theaters this weekend. The Source Magazine was on the red carpet for a special Louis Vuitton and Vanity Fair screening of the film in New York City at the Paris Theater.

The film’s soundtrack is heavily hip-hop influenced. Check out what Coppola had to say about working on the soundtrack:

Can you speak about the soundtrack?

Sofia Coppola: I love putting the soundtracks together and I worked with my friend Brian Reitzell and it was fun because we had hip-hop in this which I never had in my movies before so it was to get in the world of these kids.

Why did you decide to use ”Super Rich Kids”  by Frank Ocean?

Sofia Coppola: Yeah I love that song. I spoke to Kanye West when I was starting my movie and asking for some advice and he suggested that song before it came out, so I was excited to finally hear that song and I thought it worked perfectly.
