The murder case of O.J. Simpson has once again garnered national attention with FX‘s new series American Crime Story : The People Vs. O.J. Simpson. The show, which features Cuba Gooding Jr. in the role of the infamous former NFL-star-turned-actor, portrays  the events surrounding the 1994 murder of Simpson’s wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. Critics have already lauded the show for its pinpoint  recount of the events that took place, and has even received commentary from Simpson who’s currently serving a 33-year sentence for an unrelated crime.
