Kobe Bryant is getting a retirement gift that any sneaker head would envy, as the Jordan Brand has gifted the retiring Lakers star 30 pairs of custom Jordans, one of each model of the iconic sneaker, in a white, purple and gold colorway.
Sneaker collectors are in luck, as the 37 year old Bryant and Jordan Brand have also teamed off to auction off a set of on eBay with the proceeds going to charity. All 30 pairs are made to fit Bryant’s size 14 and the opening bid for the collection is rumored to be as high as $100,000.
Bryant has a history with basketball’s most famous shoes, as he wore two different retro models the Air Jordan III and Air Jordan VIII during the 2003 NBA season.
