In the same night that Kendrick Lamar received his Golden Phonographs at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, the Compton emcee’s labelmate and mentor Jay Rock was involved in a motorcycle accident, where the rapper was seriously injured, breaking several bones.
The Watts, California native’s status is believed to be stable, despite the multiple bone breaks, according to the information given in two tweets from Top Dawg, CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment.
