Earlier this week, Variety revealed Latin superstar Prince Royce will debut in the fourth season of Hulu show, East Los High.
His character Vincent will coach the Jefferson Park Dance crew, which is the Bomb Squad’s main competitor. Created by Carlos Portugal and Kathleen Bedoya, East Los High is the first original online show to focus on the lives of Latino teens in the U.S. The series also boasts diverse and gender-inclusive writers and producers.
This marks Royce’s second major acting gig, following playing Peter in Tyler Perry’s The Passion. The live TV event will air on Fox on March 20. Set in modern day, The Passion tells the story of Jesus of Nazareth from the Last Supper to his crucifixion and resurrection. Yolanda Adams and Seal also star in the special.
Prince Royce is one of the biggest young talents in Latin music. He has been nominated for numerous Latin Grammy and Billboard Music Awards. Last year, he released his first English album Double Vision and toured with Ariana Grande. The projected featured guest appearances by Jennifer Lopez, Pitbull, Snoop Dogg, Tyga and Kid Ink.
The fourth season of East Los High will premiere this summer.
