Mac Miller is making music for Larry Fisherman on WMWTSO.

The day after his unusual album listening experience, I caught up with Mac Miller at the “Rostrum Mansion” in NYC to discuss his sophomore album, Watching Movies With The Sound Off – available in stores and on iTunes today (June 18th). During our conversation, Mac explains who he intended his new project for, overseeing and contributing production and the process of getting features from the likes of Ab-Soul and Jay Electronica.
Enlisting Loaded Lux for WMWTSO‘s comedic interludes, Mac also spoke on the role of skits on today’s album. And if having battle rappers insult him on his own album isn’t bold enough, the Pittsburgh native revealed some details about a rather unexpected collaboration featuring Future and Q-Tip titled “After Earth” which he plans to release sometime in the next half-decade.
Watch the interview with Young Larry Fisherman and let us know in the comments how you think Mac will fare against Yeezus, Born Sinner and Statik Selektah’s Extended Play in the battle of June 18th.
