Fuse TV‘s series Crate Diggers took a trip to Young Guru’s studio and talked about his wide-range of knowledge in music and his deep vinyl collection. Guru touches on his influences back at home when he was a kid, saying his father was heavily into funk records while his mother preferred gospel. He tells a short story about being in Amsterdam back in the day and going on an adventure for new music. You can tell just how committed Guru is with music and how he teaches his audience with previously sampled material and records he likes to introduce to the crowd.
