In honor of the Bay Area and Damian Lillard’s resilient drive, Adidas has debuted the “Fool’s Gold” edition of the D Lillard 2. In the aftermath of the California gold rush, when countless people tried to become instant millionaires, it was those who stayed behind who built each city with grit and persistence.

To pay homage, the silhouette is designed with a gold foil upper and paired with matching hits on the tongue, laces and midsole splatter. Night gray accents are treated with a matte finish while an iced green outsole, laces and Dame branding cap off the California tribute.
