The 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards will air live this Sunday [April 3] on TBS, TNT and TruTV at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
The star studded event will bring to life and celebrate the great music iHeartMedia stations played nationwide over the past year. Taylor Swift will receive the first ever “Best Tour” award for her record-breaking “The 1989 World Tour.” She is also nominated for seven other categories, including “Female Artist of the Year,” “Song of the Year” and “Album of the Year.” The evening will feature performances by Iggy Azalea, G-Eazy, Bebe Rexha, ZAYN, Chris Brown, DNCE, Fetty Wap, Demi Lovato, Justin Bieber, Meghan Trainor, Pitbull and Maroon 5.
Justin Timberlake, Pharrell Williams, Calvin Harris, Diplo, Selena Gomez, Big Sean and more are expected to attend. There will be special guest appearances by Brad Paisley and Nile Rodgers. iHeartRadio will also honor iconic group U2 with an “Innovator Award.” Jason Derulo will MC the evening.
